Founded in 2016, Hugoeast is a Beijing-based company that has distributed more than 200 international arthouse films in China selected from prestigious film festivals. Supporting women-driven stories and female directors, Hugoeast now has a new arm in international sales, representing arthouse films and documentaries by talented Chinese directors, such as B for Busy, Model, Taste of Rice Flower, etc.
