Established in 2010, Heaven Pictures has been working in partnership with many Chinese filmmakers and helping them to discover their own unique style. Heaven Pictures has produced more than 30 feature films that have been selected for around 100 international films festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno, Tokyo, Hongkong, Golden horse, Busan and Vancouver.

In 2018, Heaven Pictures and the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS) jointly launched the B2B Film Project (Back to Basic), a project that brings together a number of renowned Asian directors to produce a feature-length film on the theme of love. This project is designed to support the directors’ expression and exploration.

The principle of Heaven Pictures is to respect the film and make the effort for the diversification of the Chinese film.
